Meeting the Creator

Meeting the Creator explores the journey of discovering your true inner self. In modern life, it can be difficult to find where you belong or understand your real purpose. I believe people can move closer to that purpose by looking back at who they once were. This reflection can help us reconnect with our hopes, dreams, and emotions, and inspire us to grow into stronger, more complete versions of ourselves. When we look inward, we often uncover goals left unfinished and qualities still waiting to be developed.
My art is symbolic, allowing each work to be understood on many levels. In Meeting the Creator, one of the main symbols is a mask that has fallen from a tree of masks into a person’s hands. This image suggests someone sitting beneath the tree, thinking about identity and the many roles people wear in life. The tree of masks is shown as a birch tree.
